Our brake line retainer kit replaces the old and discontinued brake line clip located on the firewall near the transmission. Our kit is designed to be installed one of two ways: using our included rivnut or using a nut and bolt. The choice is yours!
This kit cleans up one of our biggest pet peeves in the engine bay. Purchase this along with our upper OEM brake line clips do get the full set to replace your old/missing ones.
Two designs are available:
- Type 1 includes 2 brake line slots and the thicker carbon canister line
- Type 2 includes 3 brake line slots and the thicker carbon canister line
(We prefer to use the 2 brake line version for any car that does not have the carbon canister installed, which is a commonly removed part. The brake line/clutch lines fit in the larger hole as well)

Worked exactly as i'd hoped
Included hardware is nice, but I ended up using other hardware I had laying around for ease of install. My brake lines had bent out of shape from not having a support for so long, so these were an absolute PITA to install. But, the results speak for themselves. I used two of them (one on the lower side near the intake and transmission, the other above the valve cover) and my brake lines are extremely solid; they don't flex at all. Its worth noting that the actual product doesn't match the photo, as the actual product is of nicer construction.
